DUE TO the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, the Nineteen Group has taken the decision to reschedule its hugely popular event series at the NEC in Birmingham, which includes The Fire Safety Event. The shows will now run from 7-9 September 2021 rather than in April 2021.
The Fire Safety Event will remain in the same hall and, therefore, exhibiting companies will benefit from the fact that there’s going to be no change whatsoever to their stands or stand numbers.
In a letter sent out to all exhibitors, the events specialist states: “We’ve all had to navigate such a challenging 2020. However, the light at the end of this horrible tunnel is certainly starting to look brighter. We were – and remain – so grateful for your understanding and consideration when we made the heartbreaking decision to previously postpone the NEC Series earlier this year. This time around, rather than a sentiment of ‘regretfully postponing’, it feels more like one of relief to confirm that, after much consideration and consultation with stakeholders, we’ve taken the decision to reschedule the NEC Series from April to September 2021.”
The Nineteen Group’s letter continues: “With such positive news of COVID vaccines, plus the roll-out of mass testing and a successful pilot expo last September right through to chief medical officer Professor Chris Whitty’s team demonstrating how a trade exhibition is run COVID-securely, we’re very confident about next September. Nothing replaces human-to-human interaction. We literally cannot wait to return to physical trade shows, generating lots of business for companies and playing our part in helping to build back the nation’s economy.”
Pre-registrations for the NEC Series have continued to burgeon throughout this year and, with ten months to go until the rescheduled events open their doors to an even more eager public, the Nineteen Group now lists 20,000-plus visitors who’ve signed on the dotted line to attend.
