International Security Fair, Seguritec Peru 2028, will take place from May 24 to May 26, 2028. It will be held at the Jockey Exhibition Center (Centro de Exposiciones Jockey) in Santiago de Surco, Lima, Peru

According to data from the National Institute of Statistics and Informatics (INEI), 26.9% of young people over 15 years of age were victims of a crime in the first half of 2023.
In addition, the National Police of Peru reports that in the first quarter of 2023, 26,652 robberies were recorded, an average of 296 per day.
According to Osiptel, from January to May 2023, operating companies reported 723,375 cell phone thefts and specialists warn that criminals are not only looking for the cell phone equipment, but also to access users’ applications to extort them and empty their bank accounts.
Peru is an open market. There are no barriers or limitations on imports and the exchange of foreign currency is free.
The Importation of Equipment is subject to the payment of Import Duties on the CIF value (Cost, Insurance and Freight), plus 18% of the General Sales Tax (IGV).
However, the Exhibition Samples for this Fair may be Temporarily Imported without paying Import Duties, or presenting a Bank Guarantee. Once the Fair is over, the Exhibition Samples may remain in Peru for an additional 120 days to be nationalized or re-exported.
