SA Fire Protection has secured a contract for the protection of two cryogenic vessels with SIL 2 certified foam based fire suppression systems.
In detail, the company Versalis has awarded to SA the design and manufacturing of a foam package equipped with SIL 3 deluge valves and control panel.
The system forms a chain of Logic Solver, Detectors & Final Element in which a safety integrity function capable of SIL 2 has been gained using S81 SIL 2 F&G Panel and VDD SIL 3 Double Chamber deluge valve including its electro-pneumatic redundant activation systems.
Denmark, Metroselskabet
SA Fire Protection has been awarded a contract for the protection of twenty-eight train set with SIL 2 certified water mist fire suppression system.
In detail, the company AnsaldoBreda has awarded to SA the design and manufacturing of a water mist package equipped with SIL 2 actuation system.
The package is designed and tested against ARGE guidelines for fire protection system on rolling stock and will be interfaced with a fire detection system manufactured by ISE. The skid will be hosted under one of the carriages in an enclosure specifically designed by Carabelli S.p.A.
Iraq, S.O.C.
SA Fire Protection has been awarded from Paresa S.p.A. an Italian based Tank Manufacturer and EPC contractor a project aimed to protect the complete FAW DEPO project expansion based in the south of Basrah province in a site operated by S.O.C.. The project include detail design and supply of halocarbon based rim seal fire fighting units, SIL 3 Deluge Skids, foam systems , fire fighting monitors & Hydrants.
The fire fighting systems are designed to provide full cooling and fire suppression provision for the eight 58.000 cm floating roof tank and its process pumps part of the major scope of the project
Indonesia, Total E&P
SA Fire Protection has been reconfirmed for the second time in Indonesia Senipha oil field from Bahana Cipta Internusa a Indonesian based EPC contractor for a phase II project aimed to protect floating roof tanks of T-1960, T-1970, T-1980, T-1990. The project include detail design and supply of foam based rim seal fire fighting units to be integrated in Total E&P existing fire detection system.
The rim seal packages are automatic fire fighting units specifically designed to protect rim seal fires on floating roof tanks. SA is a leader manufacturer of such solutions for the petrochemical industry with several option available ranging from foam to halocarbon injections.
