Within the Delta Fire range of fixed foam equipment is the Rimseal Foam Pourer Sets designed for the protection of open floating roof storage tanks. Both the RFG-2 and the RFG-3 models consist of two primary elements, the Foam Generator and the Pourer.
The Generator is responsible for the foam expansion and the Pourer helps to optimise foam properties delivering the foam gently down the tank shell into the Rimseal area. These two elements are usually purchased together as an integral set.
The Rimseal range of foam equipment includes two sizes of Foam Generators – 2″ or 3″ covering a flow range of 50 L/Min to 712 L/Min. The Foam Pourer has a stainless steel mesh in the foam exit which prevents nesting birds or insects blocking the flow of foam. The Foam Generator has 316 stainless steel internals which are engineered to provide the exact solution flow required for the system.
Delta Rimseal foam equipment is suitable for use with all good quality low expansion foam concentrates.
Manufactured under an ISO9001 Quality System the Delta Rimseal Foam Pourer Sets are of a rugged, durable construction. A harsh environment version for the marine trade is available upon request.
