The Pyropanel Group was founded in 1976 as a family owned business, and was wholly acquired by ASSA ABLOY in February 2007.
From humble beginnings as a supplier of timber doors, we have operated a continuous program of research and development which has resulted in a diverse range of independently tested and certified fire resistant and special purpose products. This commitment to research remains as strong today as it was in the past, ensuring that our products remain at the forefront of their field. To meet the growing needs of off-shore markets Pyropanel products are tested to an ever increasing range of international standards.
Our head office is based in eastern Melbourne, Victoria, with distribution throughout Australia, New Zealand and a growing number of overseas countries via a network of privately owned licensed manufacturers and distributors known as ‘Licencees’. These Licencees have been fully trained in the construction methods and features of the Pyropanel range, so you can be confident that the product will meet the strict quality and performance characteristics that have become synonymous with Pyropanel products.
