Peter Clauss (Johnsons Control) has been appointed a new member of the IWMA (International Water Mist Association) board of directors. Mr. Clauss replaces Dennis Visser (also Johnsons Control), who became a member of the board in 2018.
Peter Clauss boast nearly 30 years of varied global experience in the fire suppression industry. He has held positions of ever-increasing responsibility with Kidde Deutschland, Marioff, the Wagner Group, Stöbich Brandschutz and Protection One and currently as General Manager for Water Mist at Johnsons Control.
Through his involvement and membership in a number of trade associations, codes and standards organizations and approval authorities (like VdS) in Europe, the USA, Russia etc. he also has extensive relationships within the industry.
Peter Clauss holds a degree in mechanical engineering (Dipl.-Ing.) from the University of Applied Sciences Münster, Germany, and is a VdS-certified engineer for various suppression systems.
