Niagara Hand Wheeled Monitor

The Niagara monitor is a hand wheeled operated monitor with single water way body. Very easy to operate, the Niagara monitor is capable of withstanding flows up to 20000 lpm (5200 gpm), and may be base flanged 3”, 4”, 6” or 8” UNI or ANSI. Movements on the vertical & horizontal plane can be performed by rotating a hand wheel that transfer the operator force through a gearbox to the monitor joints, making the monitor movements very smooth.

Both vertical and horizontal positions are secured by the worm gear that prevent the monitor to move against any reaction force. The joints are built in the monitor cast using a double channel system that host the rotational spheres. The “S” shaped body is designed to balance the reaction force and couple the monitor with several different discharge outlets such as water branch pipes, foam branch pipes and nozzles. The Niagara monitor can be configured also as self-oscillating adding a Pelton turbine unit directly on the horizontal transmission axe. The material of construction makes it suitable for being used with sea water or water foam solution within industrial harsh environments & offshore applications.
