IWMA to send two new Representatives to London and Brussels
Massimo Farnesi will act as IWMA (International Water Mist Association) representative for the International Marine Organization (IMO) in London. Massimo has been working in the fire protection industry since 2006.
Since 2011, he has been focusing on water mist and currently works as project manager for Ultra Fog for whom he has been involved in several marine projects. “The board of directors has appointed Massimo as he had been involved with marine issues in combination with fire protection right from 2006 onwards”, says IWMA General Manager Bettina McDowell.

Bogdan Raciega (Baltic Fire Laboratory) will act as IWMA representative for the European Commission (Expert Group on Marine Safety). He is an expert in the Polish Committee for Standardization in Warsaw and a member of CEN/TC 191/WG 10.
He has dealt with – amongst others – more than 300 marine projects under IMO rules and has designed numerous Safe Return to Port (SRtP) water mist systems. Bettina McDowell says: “With Bogdan will have an extremely knowledgeable representative in Brussels.”
Massimo and Bogdan will act as alternates for each other.
