IWMA annual market survey – The International Water Mist Association (IWMA) will carry out an annual market survey from the year 2015 onward. The distribution of the questionnaires will start in early August. The filled in forms must be handed back in by the end of October.
Questions will deal – amongst others – with the types of water mist systems being sold and the number of nozzles produced and sold per segment per annum. Further questions will deal with different types of certifications that the systems are based on and with the feedback from clients on why a water mist system was chosen in the first place.
Only recently, IWMA president Ragnar Wighus explained: “Water mist firefighting systems are well established and have been in use for over twenty years in their present state of technology.” The IWMA board of directors have thus come to the decision that it was high time to collect some data to be able from now on to examine and report on the development.
