Join Engineers Australia to hear from world renowned industry experts about the design of non combustible facades.
Keynote speaker, Blair Stratton, has worked closely with the Victorian Building Authority and will provide insight and guidance on how he works with cladding suppliers, builders and owners corporations to categorise the risk and appropriate rectification of buildings with combustible cladding.
The second speaker will provide an overview of façade engineering design with reference to a project example, offering insight into the considerations and challenges that led to the final façade design.
Key themes covered:
- Fire safety aspects of façades focusing on cladding
- Update to the building code relating to non-combustible facades and implications for engineering design
- Design Considerations relating to Non-Combustible Façade Material Options
- Innovation in façade construction
- Preliminary Program
