Globe Fire Hydrant Valves
Delta Fire’s range of Globe Fire Hydrant Valves are manufactured to BS5041 Part 1 with a gunmetal LG2 body for marine compatibility and available with either flanged or threaded inlets.
These valves are supplied with a 2½” Instantaneous female outlet but are available with most International adaptors instead.
The four primary patterns with the Globe Fire Hydrant Valves are: Right Angle, Horizontal, Bib-Nose and Oblique designed to suit all applications. The most common are the Right Angle or Horizontal with flanged inlets.
All Delta Fire Hydrant Valves are Dual Seated where the primary seat is hard rubber with an additional metal to metal seat.
For customers requiring a flanged inlet Delta Fire can supply various options including the more common Table D/E and PN16 but also more specialised ANSI and JIS flanges, all available in a variety of size options. With on-site machine shop and state-of-the-art CNC machinery Delta Fire are able to offer a bespoke ‘Custom Flange’ service to their customers where required.
Threaded inlets are also available but are not as common as the flange versions above. The threaded inlets are generally in BSP Parallel as standard but ‘specials’ can be supplied with BSP Taper, NPT, NH and most other thread options upon request.
Due to the wide variety of possible flange configurations and connection possibilities it is very important to gather some basic information to ensure that you are supplied with the correct product. The detailed data sheet (PDF) below provides a step by step guide to the measurements required and pattern options within Delta’s scope.
