The FT30 Transfer Switch Controller operates across-the-line where full voltage is applied to the motor for starting by the use of a single motor contactor. Starting inrush current is approximately 600% of rated full load amperes. The FT30 can be programmed for either fully automatic or semi-automatic operation. All Eaton FT Series controllers are supplied as Dual Utility controllers and meet FM 1321 / 1323 approvals.
The FT Series Fire Pump Controllers are designed to provide automatic transfer from normal to alternate power when the normal source of power drops below 85%, or is lost in any or all phases of the normal power supply.
