Fire Risk UK is an independent fire protection company based in Sussex operating throughout the United Kingdom. We specialise in all aspects of fire safety including fire risk assessments, fire alarms, emergency lighting, fire extinguishers and fire safety training.
Our unique selling point is that our service technicians are not commission based or sales targeted. We believe that these practices, common throughout the fire industry, present a potential conflict of interests and can raise doubts about the integrity of the service provided.
Our quality management systems for fire risk assessments, fire extinguisher and fire alarm maintenance services are accredited to BS EN ISO 9001, demonstrating our commitment to the quality of the products and services provided.
BAFE Registered
We are BAFE Registered for the maintenance of portable fire extinguishers (scheme SP101) and fire alarm systems (scheme SP203). Our extinguisher service technicians are registered to the BAFE scheme ST104, an independently verified competence based accreditation which helps to ensure you receive the highest levels of service within the industry.
10 Year Warranty
Our range of new fire extinguishers is protected under our unrivalled 10 year warranty provided that the extinguisher is serviced from new in accordance with BS5306 Part 3 under a Fire Risk UK Maintenance Agreement.
The fire risk assessment is a systematic and structured assessment of the fire risk in the premises for the purpose of expressing the current level of fire risk, determining the adequacy of existing fire precautions and determining the need for, and nature of, any additional fire precautions. Any such additional fire precautions required are set out in the action plan which forms part of the documented fire risk assessment.
As members of the Institute of Fire Engineers (IFE) and Institute of Fire Prevention Officers (IFPO) our Assessor’s have attended appropriate training courses and hold a formal qualification to carry out fire risk assessments. Our lead Assessor is a retired Fire Officer with a wealth of experience.
Our detailed and legally compliant report is carried out in accordance with PAS79: 2012 (Guidance and recommended methodology) and will identify the people at risk, the potential fire hazards, the fire protection measures currently in place and the management of fire safety. Any issues identified will be documented on a user friendly Action Plan report that will form part of the Assessment.
For extra peace of mind all risk assessments we carry out are covered under our Professional Indemnity Insurance.
