The Enviro Stopper is an IP66 Certified Cover for Use in Harsh Environments. The Enviro Stoppers come with one standard FIRE text, IN CASE OF FIRE – LIFT COVER / ACTIVATE FIRE ALARM.
IP rated protective cover is ideal for extending the life and reliability of devices exposed to harsh environments such as wash down areas. The Enviro Stopper offers protection to manual call points and switches against dust and water ingress, both outside and inside, as well as preventing tampering, vandalism and damage from accidental or malicious operation.
DESIGN
- Prevents false fire alarms and protects devices located in areas where the environmental conditions are extreme.
- Does not hinder legitimate operation in the event of an emergency.
CONSTRUCTION
- Tough UV-stabilised polycarbonate housing.
- Can withstand the severest of knocks.
- Prevents vandalism or accidental damage to the manual call point.
- Due to the curvature of these models, the depth stated will vary.
INSTALLATION
- Ideal for use in wet or wash down areas, overall rating of IP56 (IP66 for the back box).
- Suitable for indoor and outdoor applications.
- Can accommodate a standard European call point or switch.
ELECTRONICS
- Available with or without a 96 dB integral sounder, powered by a 9V PP3 battery.
- The sounder draws immediate attention to the area.
OPTIONS
- Break seal option adds an additional visual deterrent against unwanted use.
