Delta Fire Pressure Regulating Valves – Fire Hydrant Valves
The Delta Fire Pressure Regulating Fire Hydrant Valves have been designed to maintain a uniform fire fighting pressure in fire-water mains.
Fire Hydrant Valves – Pressure Regulating Particularly suited for use in High Rise buildings the Delta PRV will ensure that the pressure remains constant irrespective of the location. Delta’s pressure regulating valves are also perfectly suited to wet riser systems.
This particular fire hydrant valve can also be utilised in ring mains where normal pressures can be at an unacceptably high level and beyond the safe operating limits for the use of portable fire fighting equipment.
The Delta PRV will maintain constant, workable pressures when dealing with both high or low pressures making it an extremely versatile addition to any system.
The Pressure Regulating Fire Hydrant Valves are manufactured to BS5041 Part 1 from LG2 BS 1400 gunmetal ensuring durability and compatability in harsh environments making these PRV’s perfectly suited to both on-shore and off-shore marine applications.
As with Delta’s Globe Fire Hydrant Valves the PRV has a 2½” Instantaneous female outlet with the ability to fit any International Adaptor if required. The inlet options are also the same with threaded or flanged models available.
Flange options include PN16, BS10, ANSI, JIS or custom flanges can be supplied upon request to suit individual applications. Either BSP or NPT thread options are also available.
The static outlet pressure of the spring can be set between the following parameters as set out in the table below. The normal factory setting is at 7 bar but this is fully adjustable to suit individual requirements.
