Civil Protection NetCon powered by INTERSCHUTZ
The topic of civil protection has recently gained in relevance, in some cases dramatically – and is more topical than ever. A good reason to launch a new international congress & networking format. The premiere of CPNetCon will take place on November 23 and 24, 2023 in Hanover. Civil protection will be the main focus of the event, which will include topics from the areas of disaster prevention, civil protection, fire prevention, and emergency care.
The name of the new format says it all: the content is about the many facets of civil protection. The abbreviations Net and Con stand for the two central aspects of the event: networking and a conference with highly exciting content.
The premiere of CPNetCon will take place on November 23 and 24, 2023, in the conference rooms of Hall 19 at the Hannover Exhibition Center. Conceived as an annual event, CPNetCon will be part of the world’s leading trade fair in the INTERSCHUTZ years.
In addition to a 2-day conference program in three parallel program strands, CPNetCon participants can expect various opportunities to build and expand their personal networks, including a networking event on the evening of the first day of the event.
The quality of the conference program is ensured by the involvement of well-known partners in the preparation. Among others, the Federal Agency for Technical Relief, the German Red Cross, the German Fire Brigade Association, the Johanniter International Assistance, the Fire Brigade Association of Lower Saxony and the Association for the Promotion of German Fire Protection are involved.
On the participant side, CPNetCon addresses all relevant stakeholders of civil protection from the fields of politics, emergency organizations, research as well as the economy.
Companies wishing to present themselves in the context of CPNetCon can choose from a range of sponsorship packages.
Four thematic Pillars
Superordinate Topic: Civil Protection
Disaster Management
The term disaster control refers to the measures taken to protect people, the environment and certain material assets in or before the occurrence of a disaster and to preserve the provision of care for people.
Civil Defense
The task of civil defence is to protect the population, their homes and workplaces, vital or defence-critical civilian offices, businesses, facilities and installations as well as cultural assets from the effects of war and to eliminate or mitigate their consequences through non-military measures.
Fire Protection
Fire protection refers to all measures that prevent the development and spread of a fire (preventive fire protection) and enable the rescue of people and animals as well as effective extinguishing work in the event of a fire (defensive fire protection).
Emergency Care
Emergency care can be described as the immediate medical and nursing care of people in life-threatening emergency situations. Patients can turn to either a resident doctor, the emergency room in the hospital or the ambulance service at their own discretion in the event of a subjective emergency.
