IWMC2024 – The Programme for the 23rd International Water Mist Conference has been released
The 23rd International Water Mist Conference – organized as always by the International Water Mist Association (IWMA) – will take place in Antwerp, Belgium, on 18th and 19th September. The conference venue will be the Radisson Blu Astrid Hotel. An exhibition will run alongside the event.
As of today, the programme, which features a variety of topics, can be viewed on the IWMA webpage under www.iwma.net/iwmc. The presentations that deal with systems in practice will be held on day one (which can be booked separately). The second day of the conference will mainly be dedicated to research and testing and will also include the presentation of the winner of this year’s Ragnar Wighus Award.
The abstracts are available on the IWMA webpage under publications/conference papers. The programme includes two panel discussions on “EN 14972 – How to use Annex A” and “Lithium-Ion Battery Fires – Updates and Opportunities.” The early bird period will end on 15th August. The registration tool will be closed on 13th September at noon (CEST).
