An in-line fire pump is a fire pump used as part of a buildings sprinkler system.  In-line pumps are mostly used when lower flow ranges are needed, lengthening the pumps service life and minimising energy consumption.  In-Line fire pumps are easy to install as the inlet and outlet are on a common centre line.
